 Exotic Egypt – October 12 – 24, 2008
Most people who think of Egypt think of antiquities, but Egypt offers much more. Certainly it is a prime location to see great heritage from the ancient world, including Pyramids and wonderful temples, but it is also part of the Holy Land, and tours to Christian and other religious monuments are popular. Yet Egypt also offers nature and desert treks, great scuba diving and even golf, fishing and birding expeditions. One may choose to relax on the wondrous Egypt Red Sea or Sinai coasts, take in the high culture of Cairo, or even leisurely float down the Egyptian Nile on a luxurious river boat. Guess what, on our 12 days in Egypt we are going to be doing almost all of this. Cairo, the Pyramids, Sphinx, The Temple of ABS, a three day luxury cruise on the Nile, the Valley of the Kings, Pharaohs Tomb and Mummy, Luxor and Karanak Temples, and much more as we end our trip at the famous Cascades Resort on the Red Sea and of course four rounds of championship golf. We will have our own personal guide with us throughout the trip and maybe a camel ride when we visit the Pyramids. You will also enjoy a Welcome Cocktails and Dinner with wine and additional Group Dinners. Join us on what will be a most exciting and informative visit to exotic Egypt. ITINERARY Sunday October 12, 2007 – Depart USA for Cairo, Egypt Monday October 13 - Arrival to Cairo airport where we will be met by our representative, board our private coach and transfer to the five star JW Marriott Hotel. This evening we enjoy a Group Dinner, with wine at a local 5 star restuarant.
Wednesday October 15 - Full day guided tour to visit the Egyptian Museum, Pyramids (with an optional camelback ride), the Sphinx and the Khan El Khalily bazaars Thursday October 16 -Today we play at Katameya Heights Golf Club. Balance of the day on your own to enjoy the amenities of the Cairo area.
Sunday October 19 – This morning we visit the west bank and the Valley of the kings, the Hatshepsut temple and the colossi of Memnon. After lunch, visit the East bank including Luxor and Karanak temples
Tuesday October 21 – Today we play the championship Cascades Golf Course. Balance of the day on you own to enjoy the many, many amenities this resort has to offer. Wednesday October 22 – A full day on your own. Optional golf available, as is an optional boat trip to the islands where you view the corals, enjoy lunch on board and have snorkeling equipment available for your use. Thursday October 23 – Enjoy another round of golf on the Cascades course. Friday October 24 -Transfer to HRG airport to fly to Cairo, where you will be met and assisted with your direct transfer to the international terminal for final departure to the USA. Tuesday October 14 – A relaxing day as we play a round of golf on the Mirage Golf Club. 
Friday October 17 - Early transfer to the Cairo airport and fly to Abou Simbel. On arrival we visit the Temple of ABS, and then fly to Aswan. On arrival we are met and transfer to our Nile River Cruise ship. We then visit the high dam, the unfinished obelisk and the Philae temple. After lunch, we take a felucca ride and visit the botanical gardens. After the sightseeing we board.our ship and cruise to Kom Ombu. (Breakfast, lunch and are included during our Nila Cruise) 
Saturday October 18 – Today we visit the temple of Kom Ombu and then cruise to Edfu and visit the Temple of Edfu. After our tour we cruise to Luxor via Esna.
Monday October 20 – We disembark and transfer to the Five Star Cascades Hotel golf and Spa Resort on the Red Sea Soma Bay, where we stay in sea view rooms.
