Golf and Wine in Tuscany

Day 1: Sunday - Meet and greet at the airport upon arrival.
Delivery of the material: road map and directions. Our Italian representative will help you also with the car rental procedures. Drive to your 5 star hotel in Florence. Some free time before meeting your local guide in the lobby of the hotel for an orientation tour of the city centre.

Day 2: Monday - This morning you enjoy your first golf course Poggio de Medici Golf Club. After the golf, drive to the first wine cellar for a tour of the property and wine tasting with delicious typical snacks. After the visit the balance of the day is on your own.

Day 3: Tuesday - This morning you play your  second golf course at Le Pavoniere Golf Club.
After the golf, visit another splendid wine cellar close tothe golf course, where you will have the pleasure to taste another quality wine accompanied by some home made snacks.

Day 4: Wednesday - Today, the day is dedicated to the southern part of Tuscany with Montalcino, Siena and another splendid winery in the countryside for the third wine tasting. This morning you drive through the Crete, before reaching the famous wine village, Montalcino, whose name is connected with the Brunello, probably the most famous among the Italian wines. Here, you will visit this tiny village on your own before being taken to a famous vineyard where you will visit the wine cellars, taste some wine and have a typical lunch. This afternoon you will drive towards Siena and visit the city of the most famous horse race “Palio” with a local guide.
Balance of the day on your own to further explore this beautiful area or return to Florence.

Day 5: Thursday - A third round of golf this morning  at Ugolino golf course. After golf enjoy your last wine tasting in another area of Tuscany. In this winery you will be enchanted by the sheer size of the wine cellars in a tunnel totally lined with natural stones.

Day 6: Friday - Montecatini Golf Club is your venue this morning. After golf you are on your own for additional sightseeing, shopping and enjoying the ambiance of this lovely area.
Farewell dinner in town.

Day 7: Saturday - Drive to the airport for your return flight
